Christendom vs Christ followers, there is a vast difference!

Christendom for hundreds of years has been defined by men, not God. In the name of Christendom the Council of Nicea burned people alive to force the theory of the Trinity on people. In the name of Christendom Rome worshiped false idols and created totems that we still use today. In the name of Christendom,  men mixed Pagan practices and superstitions with Yahweh’s commandments and his Son’s Directions. In a nut shell men have used Christendom as a excuse to pillage, rap, and force their own personal agenda on millions throughout the centuries in the name of our Savior Yeshua. This is the sad truth and one most Christians don’t want to hear about or know about but it’s still the truth. This is how Christianity got a bad name. In fact since Christ return to heaven “Every”, say “Every”, every single act of cruelty in the name of Christ has been done by this sectors of people in Christs body. So it’s no wonder why even the most peaceful Christ followers have such a bad time witnessing and convincing others of the true Agape Love of Christ that links us to our Father and God Yahweh. And regardless of the difference or wrong thoughts you feel about Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses, as a whole they represent, in action and deed, a better picture of Christ’s ways than the vast amount of the churches out there. Are there other peaceful followers not tied into Christendom and all it’s false traditions/ woreship of idols? Yes. But again, there is very little of them. We have to find a way to eliminate denominations and gather as one true church freed of the Pagan tradition and biased violence that has defined Christendom. Only then will we ever be what he wants us to be. Follow Christ ways, not Man!

God vs He,1 Timothy 3:16

KJ:

God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory

VS

THE ACTUAL TRANSLATION

For years this verse has been shown as some kinda proof of this Complex mystery that somehow God and Jesus was the exact same being and person and or that Jesus was actually equal to his Father. The problem was this thought was created and forced on people by the Council of Nicea and of course the rushed false translations of the King James version of the Bible. Although the King James did something we needed, it was not perfect nor always complete in its translation. “It’s better to marry than to Burn”(1 cor 7:9).. is translated but rushed as the text actually reads “burn with passion”. This is common practice in the King James Bible and as you see leaving it as Burn instead of Burn with passion creates the concepts of either go to Hell or Get married which is not at all what this scripture is saying. They added things or half translated words to produce their own beliefs instead of allowing the text to be translated all the way through or just allowing it to be translated the way it was giving. This could have been because of the rush job they had to do, some would say but when you add words to scriptures to change its true meaning then this takes more time than just translating what’s there, so I don’t buy that. A great example is above. Notice this is the same verse but what is the key word that changes everything about this passage? The very first word, God vs He. Let’s start off with the first fact that all Bible students and teachers have to know and accept. The Bible or should I say the letters that were wrote and the stories that were wrote had no chapter, no verse, not punctuations, and no capital letters. Every single one of these things were added by editors. These editors didn’t have nor will ever have any special insight like the disciples did through Holy Spirit power to write and see. These things cause us to read and interpret things differently. So context is very important in translation and understanding scripture. Throughout that so call chapter there were two subjects spoke about, Jesus and God. The theme is godliness. To the context of the verse reveals which subject it is referring to.

Because we assume and allow man to tell us theories about how he figure out God. We take a word like “godliness”and say that this stands for the mystery about who God is, so that it points back to Christ. But godliness does not refer to what makes you God(really I could end it here because once this is shown all other issue pass). Godliness refers to the quality in you that points to your salvation and how or what made that possible. So the mystery was which person the Savior would show up to be and once Christ showed up, why he included the Gentiles into the tree of salvation with the Jews. Salvation was never built on a secret about Christ being God. If that was the case it would have translated into “great is the mystery of the Godhead”.  It didn’t, in fact the Greek word “Theos”(greek word for God)  is not in this verse at all in any ancient manuscript in the world. It was added there to push this agenda of the Trinity. Most translations that translate word for word have already accepted this. This is the reason the verse above reads “HE” was manifested. The verse never says God was manifested in the original Greek text. This is just fact. Not denomination, but fact. We can not add words to a verse to push our own agenda. Further proof is that you know this verse isn’t talking about God is that the following refers strictly to the Son of God, the man, Christ Yeshua. God, even a trinity God, would never need vindication, would never need to be seen by angles as this is something obvious and yet this verse doesn’t refer to something that has always gone on but something that had just taken place recently, and believed upon by the world isn’t something God needs as he has told us before, even the rocks will praise him. Finally, taken up in glory, this isn’t something even a trinity God would need because he already has glory nor would he ever need to be taken up anywhere, this something he could do himself. Obviously this verse is talking about the “Son of” The God because the context clearly shows which subject is being talked about through this. It is not referring to some secret fact that Christ is actually God in order for you to have salvation. This is what the chruch wants you to believe because the forefathers felt that their theories about God made them important so it became apart of the religious thought and rules,  til even today, one believes this has to be confessed and agreed for the Salvation of Christ to count. The only salvation you are we required to have is of Christ being the “Son of” The Living God, died for your sins, and was resurrected on the 3rd day to return as King and Lamb in heaven until his Father’s time to return all things back to himself. This is truth in scripture, not assumptions and made up theology. Christ asked Peter, “Who do you say that I am”..Peter said..  You are the Christ, “son of”  the Living God”.. Not one time did he say “you are God” to Christ. Only the Father could have told Peter this and what was told to Peter only revealed him as the long awaited Messiah who would bring salvation, not a hidden God that gives salvation only to those who figured it out his secrect. If you can get this truth it will free you from a lot of false burdens place on you by men. Until the next time.

Are you creating God in Your image?

As I watch TV, listen to people, and observe events throughout the years, I have seen a disturbing occurrence. Man has created a God for themselves over the true God that created us. When one is to know a being we must first seek to know about who that being is and how he sees things. The source of that answer is found either from that source or at best from those closest to the being. In our case that Being is God and the closet to that being is his Son, the Christ. We know this because scripture tells us no man knows The Father but the Son. And the way the Son made the Father and one true God known was by way of his actions because Christ always did things in the will of the Father. Christ also referred back to law and his Fathers words for direction because this revealed the character of God. Christ never approved the continued life of sin. He alway said, “sin no more”. It is the one way we can express who God is, his love, and most importantly his requirements and ways he expresses that Love and how its defined in his view. God never expresses his kingdom, character, and or actions through mans thoughts and ways. His ways are not ours, as scriptures warns and shows us over and over. But what we have done is create a God that fits our wants, our morals in our country, our sense of right and wrong, our sense of justice, even our sense of theological belief. We do it even in our imagination and paintings, when we think about how God looks and or how his Son looks. Everybody wants God/his Son to look like them. We want God to be an American, a Old man, a being walking around in sandles or even clothes for that matter(clothing would not be for a spirit). We want him to be our Genie in the bottle when we want something, we want him to support our definition of Love to include homosexuality and fornication even though his word clearly stands against it. We want to redefine what a wife and or what husband is because our country and TV says so. We want him to think about our kids like we do when we allowed kids to choose whatever they want to do and basically raise themselves without the rod because society says so. Or best yet, they create a God that says that he wouldn’t punish man for the sins much less sentence them to the lake of fire. They stand up with their chest out and claim boldly,  as if it matters, that they wouldn’t want anything to do with a God that sends people to such places. As if their opinion or stance to not serve him really makes a difference to what he declared already or removes their sentence. All these things and more paint a picture of two different God’s. The one most churches and people have created. And the one that is spoke about in scripture. The true God is sovereign, he is the one that destroyed nations of people because they didn’t obey, the one that brought plagues on men, woman, and even killed babies because of the sins of people. The one that defines love as Pure, not mixed with lusted for sexual desires, and or any other act taking place outside from that marriage between a real man and real woman. Yes, this is the True God Yeshua spoke about as his God and Father. He is just and yet he is the judge. He will rule heaven on earth in the end and upon that unification he will seek to make those against what he is and what he defines as right to suffer forever. This isn’t the pictures painted in churches because they are afraid of offending people in the churches that are living with their boyfriends and girlfriends, having homosexual relationships, dressing and dancing around like prostitutes and yet CLAIMING the name of “Jesus” on Sunday. Their defense is to claim others can’t judge them. But the word can and based on the word, the God they claim to serve that is ok with these things is not the same God of the Bible nor the one Christ obeyed as his God and Father. So ask yourself, did God create us in his image or have we created a God in ours? Is this why he says “get away from me, he never knew you”? Maybe the reason is that you were woreshiping your created God thinking that this was Yahweh, when it wasn’t.

Choices that define our purpose!

Movies are very deep at time. Sometimes they can bring out memories that remind you of many things. One of my most favorite movie series, The Matrix, has some of the most memorable moments in them. This picture is one of those moments I apply to my spiritual life. Basically,  Neo returns to the Orcle after his rebirth. He has been told that he will do amazing things and he has even experienced amazing things. Most importantly, he no longer doubts who he is anymore. But unknowingly he is given information that he rejects. He is told he will have to understand why he chooses rather he dies or someone else does. The choice is already seen and made,  he just has to understand why he made that choice in the coming days. Neo’s answer is that he won’t do that. But the Orcle says he has to because he is the ONE. And if he fails then Zion, the last human city and home will fall. This is what all of us should feel when we are tested. Choices lay out in front of us. Those choices normally have clear consequences that we sometimes choose to ignore but they are there none the less. We tell ourselves we can avoid those consequences because we think that we won’t fall or get caught. We are wrong on both ends. The possible consequences to the wrong choices are always more likely to happen than not making that choice at all. You can never know how things will end but the Bible’s guide to what to avoid reigns paramount. The more you align your life with what is just and holy, the better off you will be. Traps are laid everywhere around you by spiritual forces and evil dominion. They use all things and anyone, even you, to help bring about death to something that has life in God. Remember this, because each of us are The ONE in our lives. We have to make the right choices if we are to save what God has granted to us to be a good steward over. If not, then our home and city, “Zion”, will fall.

Jesus and God(the term God not just Father) are shown over and over again as two different beings.

As you read the Bible over and over you always will find different things. Some of this is because we read what we want to see in scripture and not allow the scripture to tell us what we should see. I know this because it has happened to me. It has happened to all of us, especially when it comes down to our denomination. We are really quick to quote and attach man made up concepts and preach them as required truth for Salvation when the Bible never requires such. We have some denominations out there that flat out believe and confess that the Bible’s direction about how to worship and what to believe only stands as a second voice after what they do and believe, not the source for the direction for them to follow. In other words they believe they set what is right and accepted first then th Bible(Catholics). To me, that’s scary,  but not surprising. Everyone of us wants to keeps our views no matter how many times the Bible corrects that view. Tradition means more to us than the Bible. Tradition for most people creates our own version of God, while the Bible’s version of God remains pushed away or even unknown compared to the image we made up or preached about. The church will preach about the love of God but the Bible also tells us about the absolute soverity, control, and fury of God too. The Bible also shows clear distinct separation of God and his Son, The lamb , while man tries over and over again to ignore the hundreds of verses that separate them over and over again.
1. Jesus counted himself and his Father as two, not “one.” John 8:17 and 18: “In your own law it is written that the testimony of two men is valid. I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father.” Jesus confirmed this truth in John 14:1 when he said: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.” There are literally hundreds of scriptures like these that set forth Jesus and God as separate and distinct beings. “Whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the son” (2 John 9). The Scripture clearly recognizes the Father and the Son, but not “both” of them as “one God.”

2. The Bible always portrays God and Christ as two separate beings. Examples are far too many to list, but a few are: When Stephen saw them just before his death, he saw “the son of man standing at the right hand of God” (Acts 7:56); the Church Epistles are authored by both God and Christ; God and Christ rule in the eternal city of Revelation (Chapter 21).

3. Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”John 20:17..Even Jesus tells others he has a God.. don’t you understand the weight of this statement. The risen Christ, with all power and authority “Given”to him tells Mary without doubt that she is to look at the Father as her God and even His. If you are to do this, truly do this for all that it means you can not believe in the Trinity or Oneness. If I can be condemned to Hell for believing Christ’s own words, then so be it. But last I checked Christ is the only one that determines this, not man,not even God, the Father, will judge, he has given that duty to his Son, the Christ and Lamb. And here again, the Bible clearly is making a clear separation of the two. Everything Christ has in power and authority is not his because he owned it , it’s only his because his father who is head over all things, including head of the Son, gave it to him temporarily. 1 Corinthian 15:24-28.

4. The Bible is clear that Jesus is the “image of God” (Col. 1:15; 2 Cor. 4:4). If Christ is the image of God, then he cannot be God, because you cannot be an image of someone and the real person at the same time. If you see a photograph of us, you see our image and you can learn a lot about us from it, but the image is not the real us. Christ is the image of God.

The list goes on and on and on. Even the disciples like Paul open up his letters with clear separation from Jesus and God. What we do is take scripture like John 1.1and create some kind of hidden code for Salvation. Not having a indefinite article means everything in this verse but more importantly what was Christ view?

Traditionally, things like the trinity and oneness have been shoved down our throats for so long that we defend it with great passion and anger, all without one willing ear to listen or true examination. Why? Because the church has lied to it’s members to make them believe that when man, hundreds of years after the day of Pentecost and thousands of people who didn’t even know about a trinity or oneness belief, started coming up with philosophical debates and concepts to make themselves feel better and important, that this actually has a say in your Salvation. The trinity concept is man’s theory, oneness is man’s theory, even Arianism are all just men needing to make up theories about God to feel important. None of these views must be present in your mind or heart for the Power of Christ’s blood to forgive you from your sins. None of this is needed for your acceptance of Christ sacrifice/resurrection, and the confession of him being the son of the Living God to work for righteousness. If you can ever really see this it will free you from a lot of fear and bondage. Allow good translated scripture to show you truth through the power of His Spirit. Quote from it and believe on it not man’s denominational rules for Salvation or the biased translated versions of the Bible to push denomination. You just have to really study and accept his word not assumptions. But once you see this for yourself the scripture words that you have read your whole life will be seen clearer and your eyes will forever be open and you will wonder how in the world you skipped over that simple truth that the Bible shows us over and over, that Jesus too has a God.

“But who do you say that I am?”

but-who-do-you-say-i-am

Mathew

Sometimes in Man’s seeking of knowledge and to be seen and respected, they lose themselves to complicated theories and create their own Doctrines. This has been the path for thousands of years. Because of this, we have today what we see now…Denominations that stretch from one end of the earth to the other. As I have mentioned in my previous entries, I seek Christ without Man’s Theology. The Christ seen in the bible had no such requirements as man has placed on the church throughout the world. Everything from added requirements of Salvation based on creeds,  rituals, to the suits and ties that are worn in service have nothing to do with your salvation. Now, this doesn’t mean that there are no requirements from you for your salvation. You still must accept Christ and his sacrifice and resurrection and as he says himself, “if you love me, keep my commandments.  There is no such scripture that teaches you that those who are really for his kingdom got to continue in their sin’s and live for their flesh. “Be Holy because I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16). But where does the Salvation begin? It begins with one simple question? “Who do you say that I am?”. This is the knowledge and statement that the entire true church is built off of, as Christ said himself. The Author and finisher of our Faith have already told us the requirement of his Church, so who are you to add more. Have you thought about the simplicity of this question? Or have you allowed others to add more than what even Christ asked of Peter for your salvation? Look at this verse! Look at 2 facts about what the statement doesn’t say compared to man’s requirements.

  1. Peter was not asked if Christ was God or a god.
  2. Peter was not asked to believe in or explain Christ as apart of a Trinity

Nothing about these issues ever came up during the whole ministry work of Christ. No one time did Christ bring to the table the concept of the Trinity, Him being God or a god, and or any other Theology debate that separates our churches from being one because of our denominations. The answer Christ looked for was very simple, He IS the Son of the Living God, the Messiah!

Let’s look at the Just and Merciful God we serve here, the God that is against confusion and look at our denominations that spread across this earth. We don’t represent anything close to what he describes as his Church. If one was just to use the scripture without trying to come up with theories and Philosophies to try and do God’s work for him we would be better off. What if you only quoted the scripture and lived by that scripture regardless if it interfered with Man’s ways, creeds, and theology? If I did that I can stand in front of God without fear of anything. If his scripture says Christ said “The ONLY True God is the Father” (John 17:3)and I quoted that scripture and taught that to others because that is what is said instead of trying to read into it and create other concepts, The God we serve wouldn’t and couldn’t condemn me for that. But if I take that same scripture and start creating other thoughts and basis for that statement elsewhere, then I’m doing something that isn’t needed or required of God and then it’s me who is doing this. This leads to sin and judgment especially if I’m wrong about that path. This is something God could judge me for. Where we fail is that we as a man, have to be able to explain everything(pride) to make it fit our comfort levels, the way our society operates now 2000 years later, etc, etc. We take that scripture and then put it up against another scripture in an effort to try and make it fit Man’s reasoning. And while this is needed sometimes, it isn’t when it comes to the requirement of man to do so connecting it to your salvation. Example: Isaiah 9:6 says Christ would be Called Mighty God. What man does is takes that scripture and John 17:3 and they try and make sense of the scripture’s seemly conflict. This then creates a theory base that spreads into other areas and before long what you have is a denomination based on two or more different ways to look at those scriptures instead of just accepting that they say this and leave it to God to explain once you stand in front of him. During my walk, I have found that if you look hard enough and unbiasedly, you will find something in scripture that could be used to support every single theory in every denomination on the planet. But the simple truth is the words in the scripture never change even if they go against those theories and denominations of others. The Words in the Scriptures are the same for the most part(different translations, of course, play a role) and if you can ever see that there is safety in them over trying to battle through the creeds and doctrines of man, you will find peace. Again, keep in mind, if you believe in only his Word and quote his Word for your direction in life, God will not Judge you for this. But if you theorize and create different thoughts and doctrines in your attempt to show you have figured it out and are wrong, you can be judged for this and God have mercy on you if you have led others down that road as well. Salvation begins with Christ being the Son of the living God and The awaited Messiah. It is completed in the faith that he died for your sins and rose 3 days and 3 nights later. Not one single scripture requires you to explain Christ as God, a god, trinity or anything more for your salvation to count.
