Excuses we give to ourselves to continue tradition.

ex·cuse
verb
3rd person present: excuses
ikˈskyo͞oz/
1.
attempt to lessen the blame attaching to (a fault or offense); seek to defend or justify.

take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, “How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise. You shall not worship the LORD your God in that way; for every abomination to the LORD which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods. (Deuteronomy 12:30-31)

This is what the bibles says about practices used to woreship God taken from false gods and their followers. In Deuteronomy Yahweh clearly gives the order to his people that they should not apply ways of the Pagans and or any other False deity into the woreship ways of Him. Notice God never said it’s ok as long as you don’t look upon this the same way they did. No, he is drawing the line and making a clear direct point that whatever ways they made up to  use to woreship their god should never come over to be used to woreship me. Pagans used a multitude of different rituals made up to praise their false deities. God’s people for some reason always found it very pleasing and exciting to copy these ways. Even in the New testament Paul found his church out of order in their woreship of God and attempted to correct them. God doesn’t want what is meant for other gods or created as to support that god associated with Him or his people. We should all take note of this as thanks to the Roman Chruch we have a lot of Pagan rituals that have become apart of Christianity. Rome could not convert the Pagans over to Catholics so they combined their gods with our bible prophets, servants, angels, and God, their days and woreship with ours. As a result we have the image of Christ as baby and cupid being tied together, Mary and Aphrodite, Zues and Yahweh mixed. This is especially seen in the artwork in their bibles and paintings. This is when we adopted the birth of Christ which was done in the end of spring to be done during December. It helps identify the woreship times of the Winter solstice and Christmas trees (their false god tree they adored with silver and gold…as the bible warns us to stay away from..Jeremiah 10). It is especially the source of the Easter Bunny which is a sexual god of fertility of the Pagans and Christ death on what should be called resurrection day but has been infected yet again with false actions to be called Easter. If one would simple ask the common question..what does your savior bleeding on a up right stake or post got to do with a 6 foot white bunny and eggs? They would see clearly these have nothing to do with each other. Most know this but they choose to ignore it because of tradition. They excuse their actions over and over again but yet claim to love Yeshua and would do anything for him. Well, Yeshua himself ask for one simple thing. Obey the word God, by this you show him you love him(John 14:15). Are you doing that? Nobody can answer that question for you but it is the most direct question we can ask ourselves. Are my actions or rituals against his word? It doesn’t matter what way we try and shape it or excuse it. If we are told not to, the word doesn’t say it’s ok if you can explain why you did anyway, only that you don’t do it…period. Adam and Eve both alike gave reasons why they did what they did. God didn’t excuse or forgive their actions because they tried to explain them away. Some even believe that some if not all of the punishments were given because they didn’t own up to their actions and tried to explain them away like most of use do today. We should learn from them and seek a better path.
